Unfortunately, another renowned reggae musician in the world says goodbye to this plan. Guitarist Dalton Browne, who was hospitalized two weeks ago after a severe heart attack, passed away this past Sunday, November 1st.
Doctors even performed surgery to install a pacemaker, but the organ was already very compromised and he didn't survive.
Dalton Browne came from a family of musicians and played/recorded with a number of artists such as Freddie McGregor (for whom he was musical director), Judy Mowatt, Anthony B, Gregory Isaacs, Luciano, Bushman, and recently in Harrison Stafford's (lead singer of Groundation) solo project called "Professor".
In the video below, see Dalton Browne (guitar) alongside Harrison "Professor" Stafford (vocals and guitar) and other Jamaican legends: Errol "Flabba" Holt (bass), Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace (drums) and Lloyd "Obeah" Denton (keyboards). R.I.P.
